This years Expo should be back to normal, with a full range of Stalls/displays. Garrett Axiom should draw some attention this year. Though I can't see any sign in the directory. Maybe OZ wash will bring some along?! Will be good to see the direction things are heading detector wise, and what new Gizmos are available to make things easier.

Seems Garrett Aus will not be making the trip down. They are sending a large gazebo down for local dealer "prospectors depot" to wave the Garrett flag. So there will be Axioms at the Expo, alongside the OZ Wash sluices, if anybody wants a hands on look.

Perhaps I'm too cynical...But I have to admire the advertising benefits for ML having an 80oz nugget found a couple of weeks before expo. Add to that the subtle way the "budget" detector price was also shown in the news story. (lucky strike $1200 Equinox). Must be a coincidence also, that ML have recently released a number of new VLF machines?!
