Good to see you back , I was bored with Strawman and his circular theories and FAKE DETECTOR FINDS.

Gracing the world with your irrelevant claptrap, and misguided opinions laced with innuendo and insult again!?
What you think of my encounter is as irrelevant as all your other comments and opinions.
I wasn't even a detector owner at the time, nor did I know who he was until informed by a local at a later date.
My parents are buried in Heathcote and I have family there. I never claimed to have detected with the Old Man, just had a conversation.

I will say this though...You're right about one thing, he was a gentleman.
I remember my conversation with him and the way he spoke it.

Unlike you ASS whose words are like a stain on peoples ears and quickly forgotten.
Ps. If he's still around and drops by my brothers business again I'll be sure and mention you...not!

I must say ASS, you and Strawman have done a great job!

After a Brand New Detector, new tech, new features and New Australian company arrives.
We first get Strawman imparting his patent expertise on patent law, and telling all it would never hit the market...
Then He wasn't going to touch it because ML might get a $1...
Then it was going to fall apart because Woody was involved...
Then it was going to be crap because it didn't have iron cancel as it's discrimination, and ML was much better.
Then when told he was promoting ML he quickly changed to Garrett Discrimination.

Meanwhile....
... a great entry level multifunction PI detector with target ID has sold, and presold well over 100 units, selling out the first batch within  weeks.
...first deliveries and feedback are starting to show with the AlgoForce E1500 performing as listed with all functions operational.

But hey, the ASS and the Strawman, are above all that, and too busy frowning down on and trolling and abusing others to notice.
So when Reg Wilson is kind enough to start a thread about said new detector in an effort to promote some detector talk...
All Strawman can do is voice negative claptrap and theories based on what he read years ago..
And now the ASS has come to offer what?? Moral support??(wouldn't you need morals for that?)
And all you've both done is turn another AEGPF post into one of your personal insult threads and failed attempts at superiority.

Show me another NEW detector in the same price range that offers the same performance and features!?

Nobody ever said it was better than other machines out there!!
But it's the best PI in it's price/performance range...It has no competition. And all those detectorists out there getting exited, are excited about a new player in the market, taking some of that ML monopoly and overpricing you always complain about.

Sure it's not going to beat top of the line and other machines 4x it's price...But nobody ever said it would!

Iron discrimination isn't what most detectorists are after, though it's a handy tool in a scrap heap.
The majority of non colour targets dug are lead!! .22 and pellets of all sizes.


The ability to tell the difference between lead and gold to some extent is what is being asked for, even if not 100%.
You'd know this if you ever went detecting, especially hunting small stuff around existing workings, instead of pretending with your FAKE DETECTOR FINDS post.

And judging by that belly on your ASS, he could do with a little more time walking around too!!

Even an experienced noob like me can see straight through your fabrications and claims of knowledge, knowledge you claim as your own experience simply by posting a link or reading a thread. And there's plenty of Forums and pages that aren't run by electronic engineers or even detectorists. Take the QED page and yours for example. Shit Brian Skinn was/is selling QEDs and running paid Gold Tours, and I found more gold more often with a QED!

I've been out detecting this year/month/week/day, and while not retiring, I've turned up enough to pay for fuel and keep me motivated and exercised. Even the ASS has probably been out.(though I'm not sure how much exercise he got;) )
When did you last find colour with a detector that wasn't FAKED????

Ps. While interested in tech mumbo jumbo and new toys, like most others out there, I want to know can it find gold.

I have no need, like most, for more than a rudimentary knowledge of detecting mechanics to find gold.
As you have shown Strawman, on a regular bases and over a variety of subjects, any moron can Google search and post a link!!
Or if other information is required, I have many detectorists, with more experience than me, to ask.

I do have a rather major qualification you lack though Strawman.. I'm detecting and finding colour!!

That's very funny Howard.. "The QED has had a method / function of cancelling mains interference since day 1. On the front panel it is called SMR , Synchronous Mains Rejection."

Possibly the only QED feature that worked consistently throughout my Q ownership.
If only the other features and performance were as consistent or reliable.

Once again though, the ability to operate under powerlines (while handy) and detect coins, is not why people buy/bought the QED.
While there is an occasional powerline in the bush, Unless you are specifically looking for targets under powerlines and seeking them out, very little detecting is done beneath them in all but a couple of areas.
The ability to operate the Q in these conditions is pointless anyway, if it can't see a target smaller than a coke can deeper than 8", or has a 12" max depth with a 20" spiral X-coil.

Ps. Being the first to have a method to cancel mains interference is pointless if it can't find colour!
