Snippets and sneak peaks of a QED with tracking have been seen and used.
Very rudimentary and needs more work the general consensus, but it does exist.
Wish I could say the same for the QED wrecker called Goldman, who since I've been involved has been instrumental (imo) in the improper testing and extended delays, the downfall in performance of a competent detector, and the alienation of any experienced QED users (not to mention experienced prospectors) and anybody who noticed his lack of qualifications.
This has essentially left Howard holding the ball, to deal with issues, test the QED and reply to customer feedback.(which is growing again) The Q facebook page has had a variety of queries re promised updates at purchase, with Howard doing his best to answer from his book of standard responses, and Brian Skinn seemingly unable to access the internet unless you catch him during the 2 weeks a year he is home. Howard is not getting any younger.
Brian Skinn/Goldman and his interstate testing and changes (PL4 was probably his idea) has absolutely no idea how to utilise the settings on a QED for different coils and ground, and hasn't found gold with a QED in Vic or anywhere else for years. I can't help but feel Brian's waiting for the QED to simply be given to him by Howard? Though I don't think there will be much left of it as a brand, If he can't get of his arse, get out in the field and do the testing he claims he does. Instead it has been left to Howard to have users test machines, in order to get any feedback at all.
